About Us

Martin Delaney MSc. BSc.

of

Blooming Mental Wellbeing 

holds an MSc. in Mindfulness Compassion and Insight Studies from the University of Aberdeen Scotland and a BSc. in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University England.

Martin has been teaching Mindfulness and Compassion for over fifteen years and has been practicing in the Tibetan Buddhist Tradition for more than twenty years


He completed Professional Mindfulness training under the direction of John Kabat Zinn and Saki Santarelli Centre for Mindfulness Massachusetts, and completed Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher Training at the University of Bangor Wales. He also completed Mindfulness Based Living (MBLC) teacher training at the University of Aberdeen Scotland.


He is a trained Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) teacher which he completed in the USA under the direction of Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer, and with

the University of California San Diego Centre for Mindfulness.


However more important than any academic training is the twenty years integration of personal practice into daily life.

His research on the Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) Programme and Caregiving was recently published in the leading US Science Journal PLOS ONE
